About the Role
We're seeking a visionary CTO/VP of R&D to lead the technical strategy and scale breakthrough environmental technologies. You'll drive the commercialization of solutions across PFAS destruction, high-value metals recovery, and advanced materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical vision and strategy across multiple product lines
- Drive commercialization and scale-up of water treatment technologies
- Guide R&D teams in developing sustainable solutions
- Oversee technology roadmap and IP portfolio
- Build and manage cross-functional engineering teams
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand market needs
- Ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in water/wastewater technology, with proven scale-up success
- Track record of commercializing environmental technologies
- Strong background in chemical engineering, materials science, or related field
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects
- Deep understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
- Advanced degree in relevant engineering/scientific field
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Experience with PFAS remediation and advanced materials
- Background in membrane technology or separation processes
- Startup or rapid-growth company experience
- Strong patent portfolio and publication record
